Welcome to MCG’s First Fridays at: If you missed February’s First Friday, don’t fear! March 6th is right around the corner and you won’t want to miss this one! As you may know we are located in the Art District on Santa Fe, the center of Denver’s artistic world. Join us at Studio MCG for night of art, entertainment, culture, wine and a dash of networking with the best of the best marketers in Denver. On the first Friday of every month all of the art galleries open their doors to display (and sell) their art and create a unique evening out on the town in the heart of Denver. MCG is featuring Paul Myrick’s photography and pop art this March.We encourage you to bring family, friends and/or dates to visit us as well as check out some of the other studios and the fantastic art Denver has to offer. MCG is proud to present Artist and Photographer Paul Myrick Paul Myrick is a Denver artist who grew up and resided most of his life in the deep south. Inheriting an innate artistic ability from his mother, southern rural artist Peggy Myrick Knight, Paul is naturally creative and expressive in several art forms including photography, watercolor and graphic design. Although Paul is a self-taught artist, he was mentored by Atlanta-based photographer Robin Davis, who teaches bi-annually at the Cortona Center of Photography in Italy. A previous career working in information technology provides Paul with a technical background that fits perfectly with today’s digital art mediums. Paul’s photography and graphic design workwas chosen in 2008 by IBM and Ricoh to represent technological innovation in their US and international offices. Additional photographic scenes of Colorado were also selected by IBM for their Boulder office complex.
