These delicious roasted chicken wings disappear quickly at a party.
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons Herbes de Provence (see note below)
- 4 pinches of sea salt
- 4 pinches black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 ½ – 3 lbs wings, separated and tips discarded
Preheat oven to 450º F and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and then place a sheet of parchment paper on top.
Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and toss to completely coat the wings in the oil and seasonings. Place the wings in a single layer on the lined baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Using tongs, turn the wings over and roast for an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until browned to your liking.
This dish goes great with homemade Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing and Dip. Serve with celery and carrot sticks for dipping.
Note: The Herbes de Provence mixture I use contains the following dried herbs: savory, thyme, rosemary, basil, tarragon, and lavender flowers. It can be found pre-mixed in the bulk spice section at Natural Grocers – or mix your own in equal parts.
