While listening to my “Diana Krall” Pandora station (via Sonos), the song “The Best Is Yet To Come” started playing, but I didn’t recognize the artist. When I looked at the song info, it was Debby Boone! What??? Debby Boone doing jazz? Well, the album is entitled “Reflections Of Rosemary” in honor of Rosemary Clooney. What’s more, Rosemary Clooney was Debby Boone’s mother-in-law. All of this is news to me. I remember (way back) when she was doing TV commercials for Acne-Statin in the 70’s. Whoops! I’m telling my age! Anyway, the album was actually released in 2005, but I’ve just now heard about it. Pandora is fantastic for finding obscure music based on my favorite artists and songs.
