Somewhat Bizarre 80’s Video – Elton John featuring George Michael – Wrap Her Up

Here’s a somewhat bizarre video I discovered this evening while perusing 80’s videos on the Roku Vevo channel.  It’s not a great video, but I couldn’t stop watching it and thinking, “What the hell?!?!?”  Elton John is actually sporting a mullet haircut?

As the video plays out, Elton John is inserted (badly) into black and white press reels featuring Vivien Leigh in a Gone With The Wind promo, Marilyn Monroe meeting Queen Elizabeth II, Joan Colllins, Marlene Dietrich, Eva (maybe Zsa Zsa) Gabor, Shirley Temple, Brigitte Bardot, Nancy Reagan (another what the hell moment), Priscilla Presley, and a line up of Frankenstein brides. There’s also a silly shot of Kiki Dee getting a pie in the face while on stage with Elton John and George Michael.

I do not remember this video mess from the 80’s and I’m not sure I want to.
